UAE is non-member of the Hague Convention. All the document proposed to use in United Arab Emirates need legalization not Apostille which usually known as attestation or authentication. The applicants thus have to first attest their document at the concerned State Government, then to Ministry of External Affairs (Government of India) UAE Embassy in India (New Delhi/ Mumbai) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
